The Background Behind a Popular Healthy Habit

27th September 2009 by Bronchitis No Comments

Its seems a though everybody has been on a green tea binge lately which is great because its a very healthy habit. I am so very excited about all the positive research about the benefits of green tea. Each and everyday more and more exciting research is coming out. However, don’t take my word for it. I’m just your neighborhood reporter who happens to love beauty products. (Bet you didn’t know that was my formal title, did you?) As an alternative, look at the peer-reviewed data below:

2001 International Journal of Cancer
Green tea can help keep many chronic diseases at bay. This study was conducted using people for analysis. You certainly aren’t dealing with fish and green tea. These were real people who live in China.

2003 International Journal of Cancer
Green tea has been found to interfere with some types of cancer and angiogenesis. If angiogenesis is occurring in your blood cells then cancer can also develop. This means that the healthy habit of green tea can help stop cancer that is already in existence by inhibiting its formation and growth.

2006 Journal of American Medical Association
Green tea has also helped in the drop in carcinogenic mortality. This study showed that people who drank more green tea tended to have lower mortality rates due to cancer. In short, green tea appeared to help them avoid or recover from cancer more effectively.

2009 American Journal of Epidemiology
Blood and lymph cancers can be held at bay by green tea. There has been a new study released from Japan stating that by drinking 5 cups of green tea daily you will reduce you chances of getting these cancers by up to 50 percent.

And those are just four of thousands and thousands…

As you can see, green tea is one of the healthiest habits you can have. Start drinking green tea and making it a habit if you don’t already. And trust me, it’s so much better and better for you than starting any type of bad habit. Either make your own tea or take it in supplement form. Can’t stand the taste? Try it in a capsule. Whatever you decide to do, you can indulge in this healthy habit with confidence, knowing that you are taking steps to keep your life long and your skin intact.
